Book Selected: Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child

Time: Spring 2013

Project Summary:

The purpose of this project is to revamp the package (dust jacket/cover/lede) and sample interiors for a published book that's available in the Canadian market. It's an individual project and I picked a cookbook, not only it gets a good combination of text and graphics, but also to show my respect to Julia Child, one of the greatest cooks in the American history.

The redesign concept is to transform Mastering the Art of French Cooking from a blockbuster cookbook to a pleasure causal "food porn" collection by revamping the selections of typeface, colour spectrum and adding more pictures.
