Project Name: Magazine Design and Business Plan [Collaborative Project]
Time: April 2013
Project Summary:
This is a magazine design project for a publishing class in SFU. The goal is to enter a niche market and design a culture magazine that does not exist in Canada yet, hence come up with a comprehensive business plan (catalog sheet) to describe its editorial, visual, digital and marketing concepts in details. Inspiring by Lucky Peach and Anthony Bourdian, we decided to explore food culture from a quirky but fun perspective, and name our magazine DoubleDip - it has nothing to do with financial crisis, it's just simply too good to stop at one dip.
